ELVIS PRESLEY
A poor boy from Tupelo, MS who made it big in Memphis, TN.
Does he need any introduction....I think not. I fell in love with his music and the sound in 1956 when the world exploded for Elvis and all the youth around.
In 1995 I went to Memphis to attend Elvis Tribute Week....what a hoot that was! I met some Elvis world friends while there, Lola from Chicoutimi, PQ; Jean, Cyndi and Mike from Memphis; David from Belgium and Elvis' cousin, Gene Smith. The Piece de resistance was meeting Scotty Moore, Elvis' first guitarist and manager. I also met DJ Fontana, drummer and the Jordanaires, back up vocalist for many years.
Scotty Moore, Elvis and Bill Black The Blue Moon Boys I continue to enjoy Elvis' music and the friends that I have made over the years.
